Concordia University Wisconsin & Ann Arbor offers a wide variety of substantial scholarships to Pre-Seminary students, including competitive full-tuition scholarships.

Concordia University has a long, successful history of preparing men for seminary since 1881. The Pre-Seminary Program prepares students for theological studies and pastoral formation at the seminaries of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. This preparation encompasses biblical knowledge and doctrine, as well as the liberal arts.

Because LCMS pastors are in such demand, Concordia University Wisconsin is proud to offer two full-tuition scholarships to select pre-seminary students who meet certain criteria.

“This is just one of many ways we encourage young men to consider and study for going into ministry,” says Rev. Dr. Dan Paavola, chair of the Department of Theology. “We’re excited every year to see so many faithful and talented young men begin their journey to Lutheran ministry here at Concordia University Wisconsin.”
