On Friday, CBS58 reporter Ceearon Bagenda spoke to CUW PA Director Pollyanna Kabara, EdD, about Concordia’s vaccination efforts and the importance of the vaccine.
“We really need to take advantage of the vaccine, for the people who are old enough to get vaccinated, in order to protect those who are young (and cannot get it),” Kabara said.
The CBS segment also reported on the Associated Press’ recent analysis of CDC data from May which shows that nearly 100 percent of COVID-related deaths in the U.S. are among unvaccinated people—an indication that deaths per day could be practically zero if everyone eligible got the vaccine.
