Concordia University Wisconsin’s Virtual 2020 Commencement will feature two-time national champion, Heisman Trophy winner, and current ESPN analyst Tim Tebow. The special address is made possible by a gracious sponsorship from a friend of the university.
To celebrate the May and December 2020 graduates of Concordia University Wisconsin, CUW will hold a virtual commencement ceremony on Saturday, December 12 at 1:30 p.m. CT. A pre-event photo tribute will begin at 1:15 p.m. CT.
The ceremony will include special salutations from academic and university leaders, a student address, and featured speaker Tim Tebow, and more. While graduates’ names will not be announced during this ceremony, a list of 2020 graduates will be made available prior to the ceremony on the graduation webpage.
Graduates, family, friends, and supporters are invited to tune in at cuw.edu/graduation on December 12 at 1:30 p.m. CT. No RSVP needed. Following the Dec. 12 premiere, a recording will remain available for a period for on-demand viewing.
On-campus photo opportunity, Dec. 7-11
Concordia University is offering graduates a special opportunity to mark the milestone with photos on campus, while still observing COVID constraints. Beginning Monday, December 7 through Friday, December 11, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Luther Hall Lobby (main campus entrance lobby), graduates can come by for individual photos.
During this event, it is very important that graduates understand they must continue to remain a COVID conscious campus and follow the safety protocols that have been put in place to keep everyone safe. Everyone must wear a mask and follow physical distancing guidelines.
Please note that no professional photographer will be present. You and your guests will take your own photos. Each graduate can bring two family members or friends to accompany them. Be sure to share your pictures with us by using #CUWgrad2020 when posting!
