In many ways, they’re the “face of Concordia” for visiting students and their families. Yet they don’t always get the recognition they deserve!

In a typical week on campus, these unsung heroes of the Admissions Department host about 30 families. That comes out to about 2,000 prospective students, meaning they host about 5,000 total guests each school year! They give tours, answer questions, and bring lots of positive energy and excitement to the visit experience. The Admissions team just wouldn’t be complete without them.

Yet, because they primarily serve future students, they often aren’t as visible to the current student body as other student leaders.

“This group is so important to the Admissions team—not to mention the university as a whole,” explains Cassandra Chmielewski, Lead Admissions Visit Coordinator for CUW. “It is a blessing to work with such a talented group of students. They each bring unique talents and experiences to their work, doing an excellent job representing Concordia. We couldn’t ask for a better group of young people to do this essential job.”

With all that said, let’s meet the team now!
