Professor Jeff Shawhan, an art instructor at Concordia University Wisconsin and a professional snow sculptor, took first place at the Breckenridge International Snow Sculpting Competition this year.

Shawhan and three teammates competed in the 31st annual competition this past weekend. The group worked with a 25-ton, 12-feet-tall block of snow to create “The Digital Divide.”

Fox’s national broadcast, as well as a local affiliate, sat down with Shawhan and one of his teammates to talk about their creation and momentous win.
