John Warwick Montgomery, noted lawyer, prolific author and Lutheran theologian, will give a Reformation 500 presentation Tuesday, October 13th at 7 pm in Concordia University Wisconsin’s Pharmacy Room 008 entitled, “Luther on Scripture: Why He Would Have a Fit 500 Years Later.” He will give an encore presentation the following day at noon. Montgomery, 83, is a distinguished, research professor of philosophy at Concordia University Wisconsin and continues to specialize in religious freedom cases in international Human Rights law. A scholarly maverick, he has 11 earned degrees in multiple disciplines and is the author of more than 235 works. The October 13th and 14th presentations, part of a series of spring and fall lectures leading up to a celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation in October, 2017, are free and open to the public.
