Registration has begun for the third annual Servants of Christ Seminar scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28 at Concordia University Wisconsin.

This free event is designed for students in grades 5-8 who are wrestling with some of the challenges of today’s culture. This seminar might serve as an especially good opportunity for confirmation classes to grow together, says Rev. Dr. Ron Mudge, rouse associate professor of pre-seminary studies at CUW.

“We live in an age that makes it difficult for kids to figure out who they are,” says Mudge. “The Servants of Christ Seminar will teach participants to find their identity in Jesus Christ and to serve Him by serving others.” A complimentary lunch will be provided at noon, following and preceding breakout sessions by Concordia University Wisconsin professors and guest speakers.

The event runs from 9:30-2 p.m and will take place on Concordia’s main campus, 12800 N. Lake Shore Drive. Adult chaperones are welcome to join participants for lunch.

A Servants of Christ Conference for high school students will take place on Concordia University Wisconsin’s campus, July 28-29. The $25 conference cost covers overnight lodging and three meals. Led by CUW professors and guest speakers, sessions are designed to strengthen one’s faith, provide information about college and career choices, and help individuals lead lives as servants of Christ in our challenging world.

Adult chaperones are welcome. Please visit cuw.edu/ServantsofChristConference for further details.
