Concordia student of the month

Nicholas J. Contino, a senior English and Philosophy double major, has been named October's Student of the Month at Concordia University Wisconsin.


Nicholas J. Contino is a senior English and Philosophy double major. He is an academically excellent student, who stands out for his earnest and intellectually curious disposition.  He maintains an outstanding GPA, demonstrates a deep commitment to learning no matter the scope of the task, and serves as a kind and thoughtful leader in the classroom.

Contino also works part-time, commutes, and volunteers for several organizations through his church, including a group that minsters to the homeless population in Milwaukee and Royal Family Kids Camp, which serves foster children during the summer.

Contino was nominated by Professor Colleen Fenno.

 

 

— Madelyne Arrigoni is a senior studying English, Mass Communications, and Photography. She plans to graduate in 2022.
