Concordia University Wisconsin, in cooperation with the Washington Ozaukee Public Health Department, is encouraging the safe disposal of prescription drugs this weekend as part of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Drug Take-Back Day.
On Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., members of the public are invited to dispose of their expired or unwanted prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, inhalers and needles or syringes at Concordia’s School of Pharmacy, 12800 N. Lakeshore Dr. in Mequon.
Medications may also be dropped off at the Ozaukee County Transit Building, 741 W. Oakland Ave. in Port Washington.
Concordia’s School of Pharmacy participates in Take-Back Days twice a year, once in the fall and again in the spring.
