CUW faculty selected Gunner Gonzalez as Concordia's Student of the Month for April.
The CUW faculty have selected Gunner Gonzalez as the April Student of the Month. Gunner is a junior Psychology major with a minor in business.
His professor writes of him:
Gunner is actively engaged in research and service. He brings a welcome presence to our department and university, going above and beyond for both.
He is an excellent student with a strong GPA. He serves in many ways; volunteering for student visits, marketing Evelyn’s place and leading several service projects. He is a student member of the JED task force. He also took the initiative to work with the academic advising team to create a virtual advising presentation.
Outside of work he often mentors and leads other CUW students, encouraging them to get involved in important on-campus activities. He has used these leadership skills to tutor students in PSY 101. He possesses a strong Christian character, demonstrating great citizenship both on and off campus.
Gunner was nominated by Dr. Tracy Tuffey on behalf of the psychology faculty.
— Madelyne Arrigoni is a senior studying English, Mass Communications, and Photography. She plans to graduate in 2022.
