Concordia's physical and occupational therapy students are offering pro bono clinics to patients with specific needs.

Adult Physical Therapy Clinic

Open to adults with orthopedic or neurological therapy needs who have exhausted their insurance benefits, do not have health insurance, or are currently on a waiting list for therapy services.  

Common neurological diagnoses include: Parkinson’s Disease, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, etc.  Common orthopedic needs include: joint pain, recent joint replacement or surgery, recovering from a broken bone, or progressive difficulty with or decline of functional activities, etc. 

Clients will receive an evaluation and treatment plan which will consist of once a week sessions for six weeks on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons. Services are provided Pro Bono (no cost) for all participants and clients will be seen by groups of 1-4 students, directly supervised by a licensed PT faculty member.  

Location: Concordia University Wisconsin campus in the Concordia Center for Environmental Stewardship.  Please note, all individuals are responsible for their own transportation to/from campus.

Adult Occupational Therapy Clinic

Looking for adults (age 18+) who have survived a stroke, multiple sclerosis, or have joint pain to receive Occupational Therapy. Open to adults who have exhausted their insurance benefits, do not have health insurance, or are currently on a waiting list for therapy services.  

When: Evaluations and sessions will begin January/early February.  All appointments will be 45 minutes once per week on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons.  Appointments are scheduled in advance from February through the beginning of May.  Specific dates will be given when individuals inquire directly about participation. 

Services are provided Pro Bono (no cost) for all participants and clients will be seen by groups of 1-4 students, directly supervised by a licensed OT faculty member.
