Welcome to Concordia

At CUW, your faith and knowledge will flourish because we are a community that cares for your whole self—mind, body and spirit—and we’re committed to helping you reach your fullest potential. Here, you’re surrounded by people who genuinely care, encourage your dreams and celebrate your journey. It’s more than a campus; it’s a family where you truly belong.

Expand your mind

Concordia offers six academic schools—business, health professions, pharmacy, education, arts and sciences, and nursing—that provide small classes and personalized mentoring to help you grow intellectually. Depending on your professional interests, the campus offers speaker series, conferences and study abroad opportunities.

Empower your body

Where the mind goes, the body follows. In the classroom, craft a marketing campaign, conduct research in pharmacy labs or share messages of purpose. Beyond the classroom, engage in 30 varsity sports—including NCAA Division III Falcons teams—and enjoy a vibrant campus life centered on community, chapel, clubs and service.

Enrich your spirit

Wherever the mind and body go, the spirit follows. CUW provides a deeply supportive environment where purpose meets opportunity—live uncommon, lead with faith and prepare for a future of leadership and impact. Join daily worship in the Chapel of Christ Triumphant, participate in student ministries and serve others through campus outreach events.

Retrieve Runner (Scavenger hunt)

As an added bonus within the tour, explore the campus hotspots to find Runner the Comfort Dog hidden throughout campus.

Concordia was the first college in the nation to employ such a highly integrated Comfort Dog program on campus. In fact, the university won an award for the effectiveness of its program. CUW purchased Zoey in 2014, Sage in 2018 and Runner in 2024.

Note: CUW offers a Animal Assisted Therapy Certificate program, as well as a Compassion Care Certificate.

Behind the tour

As part of a strategic initiative to enhance the website and better share Concordia’s story, the university is launching a virtual tour that invites future students, online learners, alumni and families to experience campus life from anywhere.

The goal is to create an immersive, user-friendly map that’s easy to explore, update and share. The project—led by Graduate, Undergraduate and International Admissions, the Welcome Center and Marketing—began in February 2025 with an ambitious Halloween launch target.

After reviewing several vendors, Concordia partnered with Cove Creek Productions for its cinematic, 360-degree scenes and dynamic storytelling through hotspots, photos, videos and text.

The Virtual Tour Committee—which includes representatives from admissions, marketing, campus events, military services and the student body—meets regularly to keep the experience fresh. Together, they’re developing new content and features that highlight campus life and showcase the spirit of CUW.
