Join us in the Chapel of Christ Triumphant on Friday, April 8 and Saturday, April 9 for performances by the CUW University Band, Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra, and Symphonic Wind Ensemble.
Friday, April 8: University Band and Jazz Ensemble
Performances will include a variety of traditional and modern pieces in each genre:
- In Two Places by Haley Woodrow and Highlights from Beauty and the Beast will be featured in the University Band repertoire.
- Jazz Ensemble selections will include A Night in Havana and Li’l Liza Jane.
Saturday, April 9: Chamber Orchestra and Symphonic Wind Ensemble
Performing works by Williams, Galante, and Respighi.
- Dr. James Freese, Professor of Music and Director of Parish Music at CUW will be the guest organ soloist on Ottorino Respighi’s Suite for Organ and Strings.
- The Symphonic Wind Ensemble will also be performing Philip Sparke’s Suite from Hymn of the Highlands.
General Information
All ensembles are directed by Mrs. Johanna Anderson and Dr. Louis A. Menchaca.
- Both concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Christ Triumphant
- Tickets are $10 online (order HERE) or by credit card at the door (no cash sales)

- Masks are not required
