It’s Application Week at Concordia University Wisconsin. Complete our free application by Friday, Oct. 13 and get entered into a drawing to win prizes.

It’s college exploration time! There are plenty of good reasons why Concordia should be at the top of your list; but even if you’re not sold on us just yet, it doesn’t hurt to apply. Our application is free and it only takes about 15 minutes to complete. Take that first step to learn more about what we have to offer you.

One you’ve completed the application, you’ll automatically be entered in a pool of candidates so that you’re eligible to win any of five giveaways and one grand prize. Check @CUWAdmissions throughout the week to get a peek at the prizes and learn more about why current students chose CUW. Winners will be announced on @CUWAdmissions too.

If you haven’t done so already, a next great step is to schedule a visit to our campus. There’s no better way to see if a college is the right fit for you than to experience it in person.

Things you should know about CUW

While you’re waiting for your in-person visit date to arrive, let us give you the Concordia highlights.

12:1 student to faculty ratio

We are a faith-based private college (Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod-affiliated) with an undergraduate population of about 2,300. Despite our relatively small size, we have some of the largest and one-of-a-kind academic programs in the state. These programs are thanks to the tremendous support of incredible donors and a robust graduate-learner population.

200 acres with scenic Lake Michigan views

Not to brag but we have one of the prettiest campuses around. Plus, we’re kind of known for being entirely interconnected by hallways. You literally don’t have to step foot outside to get to classes in the midst of the cold Wisconsin winters.

Daily faith growth opportunities

At 9:30 a.m. Monday through Friday we pause classes and campus operations for a half-hour Chapel service. Beyond Chapel there are daily opportunities for small-group Bible studies, nightly student worship, and Sunday morning church services on campus.

Exemplary emotional and behavioral support

Concordia cares about the whole person, not just your academic growth. To that end, we have an amazing team of cross-departmental faculty and staff who work to prioritize students’ mental health. The Washington Post even featured us for our proactive and innovative approach!

Health care, business, education, and a strong focus on the liberal arts

While we have a long history of training educators, pastors, and other church workers, we have since grown to encompass so many more programs. Today, we have 80-plus majors. We offer degrees in virtually any health care discipline you could imagine: pharmacy, physical therapy, nursing, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and more. Our business school houses our largest programs. More than a quarter of our entire student population is enrolled in a business-related program.

Bench strength in athletic programs

We’re not afraid to innovate in the athletic arena. Our Athletics Department has a number of “firsts” to its name. For example, Concordia was the first college in Wisconsin to start a women’s triathlon team and we were among the first schools nationwide to compete in acrobatics and tumbling. To date, we have 30 varsity-level athletic programs that give you the chance to continue to pursue your passion for health and performance.
