The Week of Service is when Concordia Falcons come together each year to put special emphasis on doing the work of Jesus on earth. There are many opportunities throughout the week to take part, including a very special alumni/student service project to provide comfort to those who have suffered loss. No matter how you take part, you’ll know you’re making a significant impact for the kingdom of God.
“It’s right there in our mission statement, that we’re all about preparing students for service to Christ in the church and the world,” says Rev. Dr. Randy Ferguson, CUW director of Christian service. “This week is when we kind of lean into that idea and show students and others what that means in really practical ways.”

Special Alumni-Student Service Event: Hearts Together
Thursday, April 7: 4-7 p.m. (two shifts)
Saturday, April 9: 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (five shifts)
CUW is partnering with Lutheran Church Charities (LCC) to paint and finish Hearts of Mercy & Compassion. The hearts we produce will be used by LCC Comfort Dog associate members and also our own CUW Comfort Dog Ministry. These hearts are part of this outreach ministry and given as a gift to those who suffer loss as a reminder of the everlasting love and hope of Jesus.
Choose a session and register to join us on campus to help paint hearts at this unique event during the CUW Week of Service. Multiple shifts are available, with work taking place in the Albrecht Lounge. Register now to find a shift that works for you!

Shoe Drive
- Drop off your new and gently used shoes for Soles for Jesus. Collection bins will be placed throughout the campus.

Food Drive
- Purchase boxes of mac & cheese and jars of peanut butter on campus from Sodexo to leave in designated bins on campus to be delivered to Family Sharing of Oazaukee County. Students may use points! No registration required.
