Two of Homestead High School’s top 16 graduates will begin their college career in late August on Concordia University Wisconsin’s Mequon campus, 12800 North Lake Shore Drive, Mequon.

Alex Cayer will study environmental studies and computer science at Concordia, while Madeline Kaplin plans to double major in occupational therapy and Spanish. Homestead, also located in Mequon, traditionally does not name a valedictorian, but this year honored its 16 top students during commencement exercises on Sunday, June 11.

The University of Notre Dame was the choice of four of the 16 Homestead students, followed by Northwestern University, in Evanston, Illinois and Concordia, with two students apiece.
