Here's what's happening this weekend in the busiest sports season in school history.
Time to get seriously stoked, Falcon fans! Thanks to extensive postponement and rescheduling due to COVID-19, we’re in the midst of the busiest athletic season in CUW history.
In a normal year, you’d be seeing “only” 11 teams competing in the spring season. In 2021, we’ll have had 31 of our 32 athletic teams taking to the fields, courts, and courses of competition during the spring semester. Think there’s enough madness in March? You ain’t seen nothin’ yet!
Take this weekend, for example, when no fewer than 14 Falcon teams will be in action, including home events for women’s volleyball, men’s volleyball, ACHA men’s ice hockey, men’s lacrosse, and women’s soccer. The weather forecast is promising, so why not gear up, get out, and cheer on the home team(s)!
But remember: Attendance may be limited for social distancing–and be sure to wear your mask. Can’t make it to the game you want to see? You can live stream many Flacon events with your Amazon TV, Roku TV or Apple TV streaming device.
However you engage, it’s a great time to be a Falcon fan!
