Do you strive to make a difference in the world of education with new, innovative ideas?

It could be in any form of education, from K-12 to corporate training, churches to government agencies, startups to homeschool families. Concordia University Online has a new Continuing Education academy called the “Educational Innovators Academy.” This academy will create, inspire, and empower mission-minded innovation in all forms of education.

In this academy, you will be informed about emerging possibilities for teaching, learning, and education. We will focus on educational innovation and tie it into each individual’s personal mission. Upon completion of the academy, you will be inspired and ready to make an impact in your field.

This academy is open for anyone with an interest. You can take as many learning engagements as desired, and if you complete a sequence of three, you will receive the Classroom Assessment Makeover Badge. The projects involve “real world” work, meaning you put your training to action and develop new ideas. A digital badge is a micro-credential; it’s a visual and digital symbol that you can earn and includes data such as the description of the badge, who issued it, and what criteria was required to obtain it. Digital badges are a new take on certificates and are powerful, long-lasting additions to your resume or LinkedIn profile. As a bonus, in certain districts, classes will also count toward licensure renewal credits for K-12 educations.

The Educational Innovators Academy will be launching mid-February. Pre-register now to be the first to receive updates!
