Concordia President Dr. Erik Ankerberg, recently gathered with fellow alumni, friends, and supporters of CUW, for a fun day of golf to benefit student scholarships!
A day of fun, sun and fellowship to benefit CUW student scholarships was held Sept. 15, 2025. Roughly 144 golfers participated in yesterday’s sold-out event, which brought in tens of thousands of dollars. This event has been an annual tradition since 1983.
“The CUW President’s Golf Classic is a long-standing event I look forward to each year. Seeing so many alumni, friends, and supporters out on the course yesterday in support of our students was a distinct blessing,” says President Dr. Erik Ankerberg. “Once again, the outing was sold-out and thousands of dollars were raised to provide scholarships to CUW students. Thank you to all who participated and generously gave, furthering our ability to provide transformational, Christ-centered education to current and future Concordians.”
Students and faculty from the CUW Engineering Program were on-hand to meet golfers and explore potential connections with local employers; several Concordia board members also showed up to support the cause. Take a look below at our photo gallery:
