Concordia University offers attractive transfer options for students in the wake of Northland College’s closure announcement.
Concordia’s community extends its thoughts and prayers to the students, faculty, staff, and alumni of Northland College. The northern Wisconsin campus has announced its plans to close at the end of the semester after more than a century of service.
In light of this announcement, Concordia is committed to helping ease the transition for any Northland students looking to transfer to CUW:
- All completed Northland College undergraduate credits will be accepted as transfer credits to Concordia University Wisconsin (There may be exceptions in academic programs leading to state licensure, i.e., through the Department of Public Instruction.)
- Smooth credit transfer process into a comparable degree program
- Direct admission to online or in-person programs whenever you are ready to begin at CUW
- Exclusive ‘Direct to CU’ scholarship offered at the online undergraduate level; Competitive financial aid packages available at the traditional undergraduate level
Tips to help us with your transfer
It may take some time for you to receive your transcripts from Northland. Help expedite your potential transfer by sharing an unofficial transcript – courses and credits completed – with us when you apply. Be sure to add our FAFSA code (003842) to your financial aid application.
Concordia will present you with a competitive financial aid package within just a few business days after receiving a FAFSA and completed documents, or after you complete Concordia’s non-need form.
