A Milwaukee Festival Reformation Service Sunday, October 29 will cap off a week of special events at Concordia University Wisconsin in celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation.


The 3:30 p.m. service will be held in The Chapel of the Christ Triumphant on the university’s main campus, 12800 North Lake Shore Drive.  Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Fourth Vice President Rev. John Wohlrabe will guest preach at the service, which will include a choir comprised of singers from area churches.

The week’s activities begin with an Opening Reception on Monday, October 23 from 6-7 p.m. in the Art Gallery.  An all-day symposium Wednesday starts with a community breakfast at 8:30 a.m.  Dr. Robert Benne, professor emeritus at Roanoke College, will deliver a keynote presentation in the chapel from 10:30-12 entitled, “On Vocation.”
