Introducing the Beacon Newspaper staff of Fall 2023!
Samuel Boehlke is an editor, blog manager, and photographer for The Beacon, the official student newspaper of Concordia University Wisconsin. He is a Senior Editor with New Guard Press and Veraffinitas and a contributor at Wisconsin Right Now and The Federalist. He will graduate in May 2024 with his bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and a minor in Law and Politics.
Paityn Taormina is a writer, editor, and social media assistant for The Beacon. She is a senior majoring in Mass Communication while minoring in Social Work. Paityn is on the Acrobatics & Tumbling team and will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in May of 2024.
Grace Velzke is a writer and social media manager for The Beacon. She is a junior pursuing a degree in Mass Communication with a minor in Business Communication.
Serena Said is a writer and blog manager for The Beacon. She is a junior pursuing a degree in Mass Communication as well as Visual Communication.
Hanah Conger is a writer for The Beacon. She is a senior and will graduate in May of 2024 with a degree in Mass Communications and a Writing emphasis.
Peyton Smith is a writer for The Beacon. Peyton is a senior and will graduate in the spring of 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and a minor in Law and Politics.
Julian Koonce is a senior majoring in Mass Communications with a minor in Business.
