Concordia University Wisconsin has a tremendous impact on the overall Metro Milwaukee economy, this according to an economic impact study compiled recently by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC).


The March report indicates the gross dollar impact of the University to the region totals $205.7 million ($174.6 million net impact), with more than 1,100 jobs supported, generating $76.6 million in annual payroll. It also shows that the state and local taxes by worker earnings total $7.2 million per year.
