Congratulations to CUW’s September Students of the Month, Amanda Rieck and Ephraim Young!

CUW is pleased to honor two outstanding students every month, one undergraduate student and one graduate student, as students of the month. Congrats to Amanda and Ephraim!

Undergraduate Student of the Month

The CUW Faculty have selected Amanda Rieck as the Undergraduate Student of the Month for September. Amanda is a senior Communication Sciences and Disorders major and Business Communication minor. She will attend graduate school to become a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) living out her vocation to serve people with communication challenges across the lifespan.  Academically a knowledgeable leader, she contributes to discussions productively demonstrating that she has gone far beyond what was assigned. She was elected as the president of CUW’s National Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) chapter, and was chosen as the Student State Officer representing all SLP students in Wisconsin for the national NSSLHA organization through a competitive application process. She did a mission trip to NJ and NY this summer impacting her personally, shaping her faith and future profession. Amanda will serve via missions throughout her life and professional career.

Amanda was nominated by Dr. Heather Pauly.
