CUW is pleased to honor one outstanding undergraduate student for January. Congratulations, Danika!

Undergraduate Student of the Month

The CUW Faculty have selected Danika Burkett as the Undergraduate Student of the Month for January. Danika is a senior pursuing a double major in Political Science and History, with a Philosophy minor.  She is always prepared for class, carefully reading the assigned texts, and she consistently makes constructive contributions to discussions. Her essays are clearly written and cogently argued. Danika has served as a senior editor for the Quaestus student-led journal on liberty, faith, and economics throughout this academic year, playing a key role in the successful publication of our fall volume. She is also very involved in Student Government Association (SGA). Danika has been the Rules Committee chair for two years, leading her committee in reviewing and updating the Bylaws and Constitution. She is an eloquent ambassador for Concordia’s Christian mission.

Danika was nominated by Drs. Angus Menuge and Jeff Walz
