Congratulations to CUW’s January Students of the Month, Ann Wahl and Lynette Krampf!

CUW is pleased to honor two outstanding students every month, one undergraduate student and one graduate student, as students of the month. Congrats to Ann and Lynette!

Undergraduate Student of the Month

The CUW Faculty have selected Ann Wahl as the Undergraduate Student of the Month for January. Ann is a non-traditional undergraduate student majoring in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Her nomination was endorsed by no less than three of her professors! She is an outstanding student who exudes Christian virtues, is dedicated and hard-working, and goes above and beyond in every interaction. She has worked as a clinical assistant for the DMS program and has worked as a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer for over 35 years. Ann was chosen as the Froedtert Sonographer of the Year in 2023. She is an active member of her church, having participated in several international mission trips, served as a youth group leader, and been a member of the hospitality team. Ann has been married to her husband Bob for 35 years and they have two adult sons.

Ann was nominated by Dr. Sandra Jahns.

Graduate Student of the Month

The CUW Faculty have selected Lynette Krampf as the Graduate Student of the Month for January. Lynette is a doctoral candidate in the Leadership in Innovation and Continuous Improvement (LICI) program. Because of Lynette’s interest in research, she moved into the PhD program as soon as it was approved and will be one of the first PhD graduates at CUW in May. Lynette’s scholarship, analysis, and writing skills are fantastic, and she works tirelessly to produce top-notch research. Lynette has a true love of learning, pushing herself to learn as much as she can in all aspects of the program. Lynette combines her skills in business, leadership, and education in her director role at General Mills. In addition, Lynette is a very faithful person, always tying faith to learning beautifully in her work, life, and faith-related assignments.

Lynette was nominated by Dr. Angela Walmsley.
