Concordia University will present its annual Selah & CUW Civic Chorale Choir Concert in the Chapel of Christ Triumphant, 12800 North Lake Shore Drive, on Sunday, November 13 at 3:30 p.m.

“Selah,” which means musical interlude or stop and listen, is Concordia’s newest choral ensemble, founded in 2012.  An auditioned ensemble of 25 women, Selah is directed by Dr. Alexa Doebele and explores a wide variety of both sacred and secular repertoire written for women’s voices.  The ensemble performs at area churches in addition to on-campus concerts.  Admission to the concert is $8 for adults, and FREE for individuals 17 and under.

On Friday and Saturday, December 2 and 3, all Concordia music ensembles will come together to perform in the annual “Christmas at Concordia.”  Adult admission for that longstanding 7:30 p.m. holiday concert in the chapel is $15 (FREE for those 17 and under) and all tickets must be reserved in advance. E-mail music.department@cuw.edu or reserve tickets by using Concordia’s automated ticket line, at 262-243-4243.

For more information on either concert, call Cindy Jacoby at 262-243-4405.
