CUW is pleased to honor two outstanding students every month, one undergraduate student and one graduate student. Congrats to Jeremiah and Bridget!
Undergraduate Student of the Month

Jeremiah Crawford is a senior Social Work major in the BSW online program. He was inducted into Phi Alpha, the social work honor society. Jeremiah consistently contributes thoughtful insights in class discussions and offers encouragement and support to fellow students. In addition, Jeremiah has distinguished himself in his field placement with Bread of Healing Clinic in Milwaukee. He thoughtfully applies concepts from his studies to his work with patients and has contributed to projects such as compiling data for an important grant report. Through this experience, he has developed a deep passion for community health and actively participates in local health initiatives. Jeremiah exemplifies a strong commitment to his vocation, viewing his work as an extension of his faith in Christ. In his service to both the school community and the broader community, he leads with integrity, humility and a commitment to excellence.
Jeremiah was nominated by Prof. Kari Klett and Prof. Nichole Ostrowski.
Graduate Student of the Month

She has persevered through this experience when faced with unexpected challenges by approaching them as an opportunity for growth, demonstrating resiliency and professionalism. Her commitment to excellence in her vocation demonstrates personal and professional growth that embodies the kind of holistic development that aligns strongly with CUW’s mission.
