Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, one of our goals has been to consistently communicate to each of you, especially at significant points along this journey. With that in mind, here are a few important updates.
Daily Symptom Tracker
Effective immediately, we will discontinue the use of the Daily Symptom Tracker. It has served our purposes well, but we will no longer use it.
Visitors in the Residence Halls
Starting today, all residential students are allowed to have non-affiliates (non-students) in their res halls. We have only had affiliates in the halls this past year due to Covid-19. Summer residents should connect with their RAs to discuss details and changes regarding this announcement.
Vaccines
Concordia strongly encourages all members of the community to get vaccinated. Vaccines are readily available in many locations, including on campus. Please click here to register. Although Concordia has not mandated vaccinations like many other colleges throughout the country, we do believe that they have been proven to be safe and successful. Organizations like the American College Health Association (ACHA) have stated that COVID-19 vaccinations are the most effective way for campuses to most fully open this fall. We do encourage you to get vaccinated if not already.
Thanks for all you’ve already done to help us get through this difficult time together!
God’s peace,
Dr. Steve Taylor
