The Veteran Services Department MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) is pleased to announce that on September 5, the Veteran Services Department, American Legion Post 1881 in partnership with the Falcon football team, will honor all community Veterans for the 4th Annual Military Appreciation Day Football Game.
This year’s Military Appreciation Day Football Game will kick off at 1:00 pm versus North Park University at Tomasini Stadium in Mequon. All Veterans who attend the game will receive free admission and the first 100 will receive a complimentary lunch provided by the Falcon Football Team players and coaching staff. Concordia University Wisconsin’s American Legion Post 1881 is also pleased to announce that Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dogs and Kare 9 Military Dogs, and Team Take a Vet Fishing will be in attendance to show support to our nation’s heroes and bring awareness to the ongoing partnerships with CUW in supporting our Veterans.
