Anyone with a business idea is invited to participate in CU Launch, a free business model workshop hosted by the Concordia University School of Business Administration. The university will host four different kick-off events in four cities the week of February 15th

Using the “Lean Startup” process, budding entrepreneurs will learn how to take their business idea from startup through the launch process. CU Launch is a free nine-month program that will conclude with a competition for $1,000 in seed funds sponsored by Concordia University. Dan Sem, dean of the School of Business and an experienced entrepreneur, will lead the process with the help of other entrepreneurs and business coaches in the area.

At the kick-off workshop, participants will learn about the business model canvas and apply it to their own ideas. Pizza and beverages will be provided. Free legal startup information, business mentoring and networking opportunities will be available throughout the nine-month process.

Registration is required. Please visit www.cuw.edu/culaunch to learn more about the free program and reserve a spot at one of four participating Concordia University Centers:

  • Madison Center, Monday, February 15th at 5 p.m.
  • Waukesha Center, Tuesday, February 16th at 5 p.m.
  • Appleton Center, Wednesday, February 17th at 5 p.m.
  • Mequon Center, Thursday, February 18th at 5 p.m.
