Call it an early birthday present for avid Milwaukee Bucks fan Autumn Harrington, a senior graphic design major at Concordia University Wisconsin.

Harrington, who turns 22 on Monday, was announced today as one of three individuals—along with Bucks great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and current player Eric Bledsoe—to design a commemorative giveaway hat on behalf of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Each of the designer’s hats will be gifted to the first 10,000 fans at three separate home games. Harrington’s will be given out on March 27 when the Bucks play the Washington Wizards.

Harrington competed against and beat out some 50 other college design students for the honor. Her design (featured on the far right in the image above) plays on her favorite Milwaukee Bucks’ slogan: “Fear the Deer.”

She’s grown up loving Milwaukee’s NBA team and even devotes some of her college-student income to purchasing game tickets. She made it to seven games last season. For the ones she wasn’t able to attend, she made sure to have the game playing on her TV or on her radio in the background when she was at work.

“I’m a huge Bucks fan so this was a big honor to win this contest,” Harrington said. “I’m so thankful to supporters like BMO Harris who helped give me an opportunity before I even graduated to jump start my career.”
