For the second year in a row, the community has spoken!
We are thrilled to announce that the Speech, Language & Hearing Clinic at Concordia University Wisconsin has once again been voted “Best Speech Therapist” in Milwaukee by the readers of the Shepherd Express.
“We are honored to have earned this designation for the second straight year, as it is a testament to the high-quality speech-language pathology assessment and intervention services our students and clinical instructors provide to the local community within our graduate and undergraduate training programs,” said Beth Eernisse, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, the speech-language pathology department chair.
This recognition affirms the clinic’s expertise, faith-based compassion, and the strong relationships built with patients and their families throughout Milwaukee.
Serving the community
Concordia’s Speech, Language & Hearing Clinic stands apart by offering donation-based assessment and intervention services for both adults and children. This unique model ensures that high-quality speech and audiology services are accessible to all, regardless of insurance status or financial means.
At the same time, the clinic serves as a vital training ground for CUW’s speech-language pathology students. Under the close supervision of licensed and certified faculty, students gain real-world experience as they apply their classroom knowledge to help patients achieve their communication goals.
