Concordia University Wisconsin’s Fine Arts Gallery will feature the works of three well-known, local artists and their use of color in an upcoming show, “Color: Its Beauty and Its Relevance” opening January 23, 2017 and running through April 2.
Artists Jan Feldhausen, Pamela Anderson and Todd Mrozinski will exhibit their work in this nine-week show in the Gallery located on campus, 12800 North Lake Shore Drive, at the Todd Wehr Theatre entrance.
Feldhausen, a longtime professor at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, presented at last year’s National Association of Art Educators Conference. Anderson, president of the Milwaukee Artist Resource Network, was recently awarded the 2016-2017 Pfister Hotel Artist-in-Residence. Mrozinski, a 1997 MIAD graduate, indicated that his work is a record of what is going around him in the present moment.
An opening reception will be held on Thursday, January 26 from 6 – 8 p.m. in the Gallery. Regular gallery hours are Sunday-Friday from 12-4 p.m. and Thursdays, from 6-8 p.m. For more information, please visit the website atwww.cuw.edu/artgallery.
