The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) awards Jenna Chaussee a prestigious scholarship during her final year of Physical Therapy education.
Jenna Chaussee graduated from the School of Health Professions with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree this month, and was awarded the prestigious 2025 Mary McMillan Scholarship Award through the APTA. This nationally recognized honor is awarded to students in their final year of the Physical Therapy education program.
What is the Mary McMillan Scholarship Award?
This award recognizes outstanding PT students who demonstrate superior scholastic achievement, a commitment to community or professional service, and a strong foundation in scholarship. Recipients are selected based on their current accomplishments as well as their potential to make meaningful contributions to the profession in the future.
At the end of June, Jenna will be working as a physical therapist at Aurora Health Center in Plymouth. She is honored to receive the scholarship and says, “… it would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the DPT faculty at Concordia. I am also grateful to my classmates, whose encouragement and daily inspiration pushed me to grow both personally and professionally.”
She was chosen from a highly competitive pool of applicants representing all PT programs throughout the United States. She has consistently distinguished herself through her exceptional academic performance, continuous research involvement, and dedicated service. The award is a well-deserved recognition of her consistent excellence, unwavering work ethic, and perseverance as a student and an emerging professional.
