One of the most influential women in China will visit Concordia University Wisconsin on Sunday, June 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. PU Ying Hua, the grand niece of the last Emperor of China, is an expert on the classic book The Art of War by Sun Tzu. She will present her knowledge on the book in the Friends of Concordia room to CUW MBA students as well as alumni, faculty, and staff. There will be a reception following her presentation. To reserve a spot at this free event e-mail the School of Business and Legal Studies at cuwmba@cuw.edu prior to June 24.
“This is a wonderful event for those interested in Chinese cultural history or the business side of a book that is renowned the world over,” says Dean of CUW’s School of Business and Legal Studies, Dr. David Borst.
CUW is one of the proud sponsors of The Summer of CHINA exhibitions at the Milwaukee Art Museum that began June 11 and runs through September 19 this summer. Five exhibitions will be on display at the Museum including the featured exhibit, The Emperor’s Private Paradise: Treasures from the Forbidden City.
The Summer of CHINA is a culmination of years of hard work by many people who believe that these exhibits will be a learning opportunity for people of all ages. Concordia University Wisconsin has sister schools in Xinjiang and Beijing, China.
