Woman looking at display at parish nurse conference

Concordia University Wisconsin will host its Annual Parish Nurse and Congregational Health Ministries Conference on May 13–14, welcoming parish nurses, pastors, lay ministers, and others engaged in health ministries and Christian caregiving.

Centered on the theme, “Living Well,” this year’s conference draws inspiration from Deuteronomy 5:33: “Walk in obedience to all that the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.”

The conference is designed to equip and encourage those serving in health and ministry roles within their congregations and communities. Attendees will have opportunities to learn from experienced pastors, nurses, and Christian caregivers, while also building connections with peers and sharing valuable resources.

Equipped to serve

This annual gathering reflects Concordia’s mission as a Lutheran higher education community committed to developing individuals in mind, body and spirit for service to Christ in the Church and the world.

“This conference creates space for connection, learning, and shared purpose,” said Dr. Carol Lueders Bolwerk, director of Parish Nursing and Congregational Health Ministries at CUW. “Together, we strengthen one another to better serve our congregations and communities through Christ-centered care.”
