The CUW Symphonic Wind Ensemble will present a series of concerts and worship appearances February 27 through March 3 as part of its 2026 Illinois Mini-Tour.

Directed by Dr. Louis A. Menchaca since 1992, the ensemble serves as the cornerstone of Concordia’s wind, brass and percussion division. The group has performed in 38 states, including Hawaii, completed seven European tours, and released seven CD recordings. In 2004, the ensemble performed for President George W. Bush during Concordia’s commencement ceremony.

Tour performances will include sacred and concert repertoire, worship leadership, and a student music clinic. The ensemble regularly partners with LCMS congregations nationwide, combining artistic excellence with Christian service.
