Introducing the officers of the Concordia University Wisconsin Student Government Association for the 2024-25 school year.
Each new school year, a new executive board takes the reins of the CUW Student Government Association. This important group, funded by student fees, oversees student clubs and works with faculty, campus ministry, and the university’s administration to make sure the student voice is heard.
This year’s president, Kaylee McCarty (’25) lists these as her top three goals for SGA this year:
- To continue to recruit new members throughout the school year.
- Improve SGA’s appearance on social media.
- Pass at least 30 resolutions through our senate (last year’s total was 29).
“In addition to those specific goals,” she added, “I’m also looking forward to aiding in the planning for the Dancing Through the Decades event, meeting new members while continuing to build relationships with existing members, and continuing to have our fun pop-out events throughout the year.”
Now let’s meet the Executive Board!
