Congratulations to CUW’s October Student of the Month, Psychology and Social Work double major AnnaLyssia Abela!
The CUW faculty have selected AnnaLyssia Abela as the October Student of the Month. AnnaLyssia is a senior Psychology and Social Work double major. She is an excellent student, striving to integrate theories and concepts from psychology with ones from different domains to expand her knowledge and understanding of social issues. As president of Psychology Club, Anna has demonstrated fine leadership skills by spearheading service-learning projects and promoting opportunities for students to serve through legacy projects. Anna consistently demonstrates a strong vocation to serve CUW and the community. She has worked with faculty and other students to organize and promote the Inspiring Comfort event of October 5 that reached over 300 CUWAA students. Furthermore, Anna has poured her time and efforts in the multidisciplinary Mental Health and Wellness Fair. Anna will certainly make a positive impact and represent Concordia proudly as she follows her vocation to help others!
