Seven Concordia University Wisconsin pre-seminary students are the recipients of The Ministerial Student Digital Library Award.
The inaugural award was made possible by Concordia supporters Rev. Timothy Bruss and Richard Beilke. Moved by their desire to give Concordia graduates digital resources for seminary study and ministry, Bruss and Beilke did the research and fundraising necessary to offer Luther’s Works in digital form using Logos software.
The digital format will allow students to access and search literally thousands of pages of Luther’s writings.
“May this gift be a great blessing to you as you study and meditate upon Luther’s rich and engaging writings for your personal spiritual growth, for seminary classes, for Bible study and sermon preparation, and much, more more,” President Rev. Patrick T. Ferry, PhD, said to the recipients during an honorary chapel service on Friday, May 18.
The recipients, who will graduate from Concordia this weekend and begin their studies at seminary in the fall, include: Emmett Bartens, Trevor Behm, Luke Elowsky, Silas Hasselbrook, Anthony Mandile, Ben Ramthun, and Stephen Weber.
