Concordia University Wisconsin is pleased to recognize academic excellence among its students.


Each year, the university’s academic departments award honors to students who excelled in their chosen fields of study, displayed exemplary Christian character, or went above and beyond in service to others.

Academic Awards

The American Bicentennial Award for demonstrating perseverance and commitment while pursuing a degree in business

The E. R. Brann Citizenship Award established in 1953 by Mr. E. R. Brann for a student who demonstrated exceptional qualities of leadership, citizenship, and sturdy Christian character

The Northrup-Bartelt Music Award was established in memory of Hubert and Regina Northrup for students with unusual interest and talent in music

The Søren Kierkegaard Philosophy Award is given to a graduating philosophy major with superior achievement in philosophical research
