Meet the officers of the Concordia University Wisconsin Student Government Association for the 2022-23 school year.

In recent years, the CUW SGA has brought you a new outdoor basketball court and booked an on-campus speaking gig for renowned national political advisor Karl Rove. What does the new executive board have up their sleeves for this year?

“We going to try to improve the actual campus, and the student life and clubs on campus,” said Yannik Gruner, the new SGA president. “We’re looking at which clubs are active, and which ones aren’t, and we’re working on improving the handbook that clubs use and the rules they have to follow. We’re also looking at possibly improving the weight room, and we’ve been working with academics to see what we can help with there.”

Any students with questions or who want to get involved should feel free to come to a weekly meeting, Monday evenings at 9:30 in PH008 in Patrick T. Ferry Hall (Pharmacy Building). They may also contact Yannik directly at yannik.gruner@cuw.edu.

“We have a few specific goals we’re looking at, and would love to get more input from students,” Yannik added. “We think it’s going to be an exciting year!”
