Concordia University Wisconsin's Music Department will take on another semester of COVID-conscious play.
Parents, alumni, and supporters at large are invited to save the date and tune in for their spring 2021 virtual concerts. Streaming links and details will be made available closer to the date of each concert. Check CUW Music Department Facebook or CUW’s Upcoming Events page for updates.
Concordia celebrates 11 performing ensembles that include more than 400 student-musicians. The groups comprise music majors and minors, as well as students from liberal arts majors throughout the university who wish to perform and study music with CUW’s acclaimed music faculty.
Ensembles are directed by Music Department Chair Dr. Louis Menchaca (Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra, and Symphonic Wind Ensemble), Dr. Alexa Doebele (Chapel Choir, Selah, and Kammerchor), Johanna Anderson (University Band and Pep Band), and Mark Bloedow (Chapel Ringers, Alleluia Ringers, and Civic Chorale).
