Mid-year commencement exercises will be held in the R. John Buuck Field House on Saturday, December 17 at 1:30 p.m. at Concordia University Wisconsin, 12800 North Lake Shore Drive, Mequon.


A total of 760 candidates will receive degrees, including 160 MBA students, 116 MS in Education candidates, and 246 undergraduate students. In addition, 21 students will receive their doctorate. Mark Baden, Chief Meteorologist at WISN-TV Channel 12 in Milwaukee, is this December’s commencement speaker.

A baccalaureate service will be held in the Chapel of the Christ Triumphant at 10 a.m. that morning. That service, which originated in 1432 at Oxford University in England, will honor Lutheran teacher candidates and lay ministers. Several academic awards in education will also be presented.
