Concordia University Wisconsin announced this week its Student of the Month for November.


Adam A. Waggoner is a triple-majoring senior who matches a sharp mind with an engaging, deferential demeanor in the classroom and beyond. Waggoner has taken on leadership roles beyond the classroom, including seminar peer leader, teacher’s assistant for philosophy, tutor at the Learning Resource Center, president of the philosophy club, editor-in-chief of the CUW Academic Journal, member of the Alpha Chi honor society, member of the CUW Players, and various positions in the Student Government Association. He volunteers in chapel, tutors Burmese refugees in English, mentors autistic children, volunteers in National History Day events, and develops reading, writing, travel, and cultural programs for the YMCA. He has applied for a Fulbright, and plans to pursue graduate studies in philosophy.
