WUWM reporter Emily Files took time to speak with one of Concordia’s Ukrainian students ahead of the one-year anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Anton Prima is earning his bachelor’s degree from Ukrainian American Concordia University (UACU) in Kyiv. CUW helped co-found the university more than two decades ago.
While many UACU students fled the country following the Feb. 24, 2022 initial invasion, Prima has remained in his home country.
He took some time this week to speak with WUWM reporter Emily Files about his memories from a year ago, as well as what he is experiencing today.
