Volunteers donated their time to work on local renovation projects with Bridge Builders, Saturday afternoon.
The organization works to transform neighborhoods one block, one project at a time.
Kurt Owens started Bridge Builders Milwaukee three years ago, and so far 600 missionaries from all over the country have helped with exterior renovation projects in 140 local neighborhoods.
“Most of the work we do is exterior because we want to create positive energy in the neighborhood so they can see what’s going on and get involved,” said Kurt.
