Concordia University Wisconsin has named Marquis Thorn as its latest student of the month.
The CUW faculty have selected Marquis Thorn as the student of the month for February 2020. Marquis is a junior social work major. He is very insightful in the classroom and is passionate about social policy. Additionally, he is a musician, a football player and balances a job on campus. He is also involved in a number of service initiatives through the Social Work Student Organization. He is going to be a KIPPtern Policy Fellow in Washington DC this summer. We know he will represent CUW well. Marquis has truly been an outstanding student and a joy to teach. He embodies the characteristics of a Christian social worker.
