Welcome Back!

Welcome back from spring break! This is The Gallery Deck: your weekly guide to off-campus activities in and around Mequon.

Plant-itary Orbit at the Mitchell Park Domes

The Domes are a horticultural conservatory located in Milwaukee. Each dome features different flora and fauna from a different biosphere. This week you can enjoy a collection of trains and mini spaceships in the Floral Show Dome. Six hundred feet of train tracks loop around the floral displays. Wednesdays are free sticker days!

The Mitchell Park Domes are open from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on weekends. Student tickets are $6.00 with ID. You can find more information to help you plan your visit here

Seven Guitars at Milwaukee Rep

The Milwaukee Rep presents August Wilson’s Seven Guitars. Set in 1940’s Pittsburgh, the play follows the death of overnight music sensation Floyd Barton as he and his friends tackle the fragility of dreams, what it means to be a man, and the nature of death. The play is one of many of Wilson’s plays about African American spirit and culture in 20th-century Pennsylvania.

This week tickets are available Tuesday, March 21st, through Sunday, March 26th. Prices start at $15.00. You can find showtimes and purchase tickets here
